Title attributed from Gignoux's own notebook where he recorded all of his works and sales -- this one with his inventory number 171 on the reverse. Gignoux is primarily known for his winter scenes and paintings of Niagara Falls. Provenance: From the estate of Arthur B. de Saint Maurice, the great-grandson of Regis Gignoux.
