Twiggs, Russel Gould (American 1898 -1991), Untitled Abstract, serigraph-monotype, 24 x 30 inches, pencil signed, dated, and inscribed serigraph-monotype lower edge, framed in an oversized black and gold frame measuring 30 x 36 inches. Twiggs was on the faculty at Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University), Pittsburgh, PA, and a founding member of Group A, the collective of Pittsburgh abstract painters that also included Samuel Rosenberg, Balcomb Greene and Robert Lepper.
