Rosenberg, Samuel (American/Pittsburgh, 1896-1972), Oh, Mother (with Nursing Mother on the reverse), 1944, oil and tempera on masonite panel, two sided, 20 x 24 inches, signed S. Rosenberg lower right. Provenance: An important Pittsburgh Collection. In a scrolled and gilded wood frame measuring 25.5 x 29 inches. Three female figures stand outside of their Pittsburgh Home, likely an allusion to three generations of woman from one family.
