Federal Tall Case Clock by Samuel Davis of Pittsburgh, PA, c.1821, mahogany body with carved curly maple side elements, enamel painted face, metal works, includes original metal hands, lead weights (2), lead pendulum, winder and key, the pendulum is marked Samuel Davis 1821, total measurements 97 x 19 x 12.5 inches. Works seem to have had some repair and replacement. Samuel Davis was a watch and clockmaker with a shop in downtown Pittsburgh from 1804-1827. In generally good antique condition, not tested; some small areas of repair and replacement; pendulum weight has come detached from the rod.
