Rosenberg, Samuel (American/Western PA, 1896-1972), Light Still and Moving, 1952, oil on canvas, 30 x 36 inches, signed lower left, in a painted wood frame 36 x 42.5 inches. Exhibited in The Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, 1953 Annual Exhibition at The Carnegie, No. 120 illustrated in the catalogue, won H. J. Grinsfelder Prize for Distinguished Oil Painting ; with another Carnegie Museum of Art Exhibition Tag on reverse, (unknown exhibition). Provenance: acquired from the artist, likely from the AAP Exhibition; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Porsglove, Jr.; Eugene Brunozzi, Pittsburgh, PA.; Concept Art Gallery Auction, September 24, 2011, lot 263; acquired by the current consignor.

Condition
