Set of 12 Chippendale style highly carved mahogany dining chairs, late 20th century. Retailed by Paramount Antiques, New York, NY. 2 armchairs and 10 side chairs. Floral and foliate carved crest rails and ears, floral and scrolling motif over pierced back splats. Resting on cabriole legs with floral and foliate carved knees, ending in claw and ball feet. Seats upholstered in detailed cross stitch textile with scrolling and floral motif. Approximately 41 x 25.5 x 24 inches. Provenance: Estate of Charles G. Pauli, Pittsburgh, PA.

In overall good condition. There are usage related chips on most of the knees, some scratches and scrapes to the feet, rear seat rails, and legs of some. There are chips at the left side seat rail of one. There are two chairs with restorations to the lower portions of the rear legs.  Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
