13 piece set of rare Art Deco Mepoco Japan figural canisters, Japanese, 1924. Marked Mepoco Japan at undersides. Small canisters 4 x 2.75 x 2.75 inches, oil and vinegar 8 x 3 x 3 inches, large canisters 6.5 x 4 x 4 inches. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.

In overall good antique condition. One oil and vinegar jar is missing the lid. Age and usage related abrasions and accretions. One with hairline crack. Some with craquelure.
