Silver bee and grapevine motif egg on stand. With inset semi-precious round cabochon stones. Festoons, bees, and grapevine motif on exterior. Opens to reveal gilt interior. Rests on a tri-form bird foot stand. The egg is 3.5 x 2.5 inches, and the stand is 0.75 x 2.5 inches. Weighs approximately 150 grams. Provenance: Estate of Charles G. Pauli, Pittsburgh, PA.
Condition
6 cabochons are missing from the lower half of the egg. Some very small areas with loss.
