Silver Mexican & Artisan jewelry. The silver and green jade "Aztec" jewelry pieces include 2 pair of screw back earrings and a statement ring. The Mexican "Aztec" inspired jewelry is designed around the idealized Aztec warrior figure. The green jade stones are carved with the menacing visage of the warrior. The first pair of earrings are bezel set with an elongated carved "warrior" green jade stone (7/8" x 1/4"), framed in pillars of bold milgrain decoration. Measures 7/8" in length, 3/8" wide, 5/16" depth. Screw backs. Marked "Silver Mexico 925". Approx. 9.9 grams. The second pair of earrings feature an intricately detailed silver mounting set with and oval carved warrior stone (5/8 x 3/8). The mounting is decorated with a crown of polished feathers, curved "s" decorations and ring and paddle dangling earrings. The oval bezel is finished with a frame of twisted silver wire. Measure 1 3/16" in length, 7/8" wide, 1/4" depth. Screw backs. Marked "Silver Mexico". Approx. 9.7 grams. And a silver Aztec ring, set with an elongated rectangular carved jade "warrior" stone (3/4" x 3/8"). The stone is framed in bold milgrain decoration and finished with a split shank. Measures 32mm in width. Size 5 1/4. Marked "sterling Mexico". Approx. 7.2 grams. Also including a 1960's artisan made enameled copper pendant with attached silver link and jadeite bead chain. The pendant is decorated on both sides with a pink and jade colored flower on white ground. The reverse side displays a "photogram" of a multi-bloom stem. Measures 1 3/4" diam. The attached silver and jadeite bead chain measures 16 1/2" in length. The jadeite beads are approx. 8.4mm. Finished with a ring and lobster claw clasp. Marked "925". Approx. 39.3 grams.
