Wilson, S. Clay (American, 1941-2021), Small archive of photos and correspondence, includes 2 handwritten and signed postcards (1975 and 1977), Christmas card from Wilson and Lorraine, 2 recently printed photos of Wilson (originally taken late 1970s or early 1980s), and 2 photos with writer Chuck Kinder. Provenance: The estate of Chuck Kinder and Diane Cecily, Pittsburgh, PA. Steve Clay Wilson was an important artist in the underground comix scene and one of the founding members of the Zap collective. Wilson's friendship with Chuck and Diane started in California in the early 1970s, and his favorite nicknames for the couple were Trout and Trigger.
