Thackeray, William Makepeace, Thackeray's Works - Illustrated Cabinet Edition, complete in 20 volumes, 1896, each volume with an engraved frontis plus other illustrations, Merrill and Baker, New York, hardcover, small 8vos., in publisher's 3/4 cherry red leather with marbled boards and endpapers, teg. Includes Vanity Fair, plus all of his other major works.
In generally good condition, apart from some light edgewear to the boards and age appropriate wear to the outer hinges; bindings sound; contents clean and unmarked; Volume 1 of Vanity Fair with amateurish repair to the front hinge causing some signatures to jut out.
