(Bakst, Leon), text by Andre Levinson, The Story of Leon Bakst's Life, 1922, number 200 of 250 copies of the American edition published by Brentano's, from the sheets printed in German by Alexander Kogan, hardcover, large 4to., original full vellum binding, illustrated throughout with 68 plates, 52 of which are in color, including the frontis of Modigliani's portrait of Bakst. Housed in a two piece custom slipcase. Provenance: deaccessioned from a regional institution; will include a letter of deaccession from the institution.

Condition

Small ex-library stamps, including a Withdrawn one, to a rear blank; otherwise in good condition with light cornerwear and discoloration to the vellum; slipcase worn and soiled, but secure.
