Charm bracelet, 14K bracelet with 3 oval cut amethysts, 7 charms, most marked 10K or 14K, tracing one man's life from Emory College in Oxford, Georgia in the 1890s to 40 years at the Westinghouse Corporation. Weighs approx. 54 grams. The largest of the charms is medallion shaped and inscribed "The Abbott Medal for Best Senior Oratory 1890, the back is engraved "Emory College Oxford, GA - T. Fort", measures 1 1/2" diam., unmarked. The next charm is slightly rounded, framed with detailed foliage and engraved "Public Speaking Awarded by NMAC Alumni Association 1921". The back of the medal is engraved "Tomlinson Fort "23. Marked "Solid Gold". The next charm is framed in deeply engraved acanthus leaves with raised "Debating" a pair of flaming torches and gavel, "Hermesian Library Society 1838", set with a single round cut diamond. The back is engraved Emory and Henry College, James Lee Lawson Debate June 1895". Measures 1 1/16" diam. Marked "Herf Jones 10K". A New Mexico State charm is shaped as the state and enameled in red, detailed with "New Mexico, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Carlsbad and the profile of an Indian Chief. The back of the charm is engraved "J.L.L Const. Comm. 1912". Measures 3/4 long, 5/8" wide. Marked 14K. The next charm is small and highly detailed, with an enameled banner across the the bottom "College International de Chirugiens", Engraved on the back "T.F.(Hon.) 1959". Measures 1/2" long, 3/4" wide. Marked "10K". The final charm is oval in shape and engraved with simple laurel branches at the bottom a raised Westinghouse logo in the center and set with a single round cut ruby. The back of the charm is engraved with radiating lines and "40 YRS". Measures 1" long, 5/8" wide. Unmarked.
