Nesbert, Vincent (Polish/American, 1898-1976), Still Life with Daisies, 1940s, oil on board, signed lower right, 16 x 20 inches, in the artist's original wood frame 19.5 x 23.5 inches. Provenance: acquired directly from the artist. Vincent Nesbert was born in Telechany, Poland and immigrated to Pittsburgh in the mid 1910s. He joined the faculty of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in August 1928, and later served as dean for many years.
