Wooden Senufo heddle pulley on plinth, Ivory Coast, West Africa. 6.5 x 3.5 x 2.75 inches, plinth 1.5 x 3.75 x 1.5 inches. Provenance: From the estate of Leon A. Arkus, former Director of the Carnegie Museum of Art. Acquired in 1980, Sam Hilu's Primitive Arts LTD., New York, NY.
