Gutmann, Willi (Swiss, 1927-2013) Cross Plates with Circles, 1969, anodized aluminum, stamped at side "CROSS PLATES WITH CIRCLES 1969 WILLI GUTMANN ARTMONGERS & MANUFACTORY, INC. NEW YORK.". In the original box. Retains original informational leaflet. While Gutmann is known for his monumental metal sculptures, he also produced a series small works. In this example, the composition of the piece can be changed by the viewer by moving the pieces into optional slots. 7 x 3 x 4.5 inches.
