Wolfgang Hoffman (Austrian/American, 1900-1969) for Royal Chrome Manufacturing circular tiered side table, USA, Michigan, 1930s. Chromed tubular frame with black laminate on plywood table top and shelf. 25 x 24 inches. Together with a steel Art Deco style side table with black hardstone table top and base. Of solid construction and design. 19.5 x 18 x 12 inches. Apparently unmarked. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
Hoffman piece In overall good condition, apart from some oxidation (particularly on the underside of the lower tier) and usage related abrasions. Hardstone top side table in overall good condition, with some oxidation. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
