Provenance: Banfer Gallery, NYC, with original label affixed to the back of the frame; Everett Oehlschlaeger Gallery, Chicago; private collection, Western Pennsylvania. Bohrod had 4 of his WPA paintings in important group shows at the Museum of Modern Art from 1934-1944. His work can now be found in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Whitney Museum and the Hirshhorn Museum, among many others. In very good condition.
