Chinese Qing Dynasty silk embroidered robe. Depicting a facing five-claw dragon over two flanking five-claw dragons in couched metallic gold threadwork amidst polychrome satin stitched motifs including clouds, bats, and other auspicious symbols all above waves, mountains, and rocks, with lishui stripe at lower sides. Scattered flowers done in the Peking knot (fobidden stitch). All on salmon pink ground. 43 x 50 inches, hemline width 38 inches. custom shadow box frame with gold leaf measuring 59 x 55 x 3 inches
