Johns, Clarence Marshall (American/Western PA, 1843-1925), Rocky Creek, undated, oil on canvas, signed lower left, 30 x 20 inches, in an ornate plaster and wood frame 35 x 26 inches. Provenance: Harry Eichleay Art Co; Charlton Hall Galleries; The Estate of Charles H. Booth Jr., New Kensington, PA. Johns lived in Lawrenceville and organized major exhibitions and started a gallery with fellow Western PA artist Charles Linford. He was also a pupil and friend of George Hetzel.

Condition
