Hetzel, Lila Barr (American/Western PA, 1873-1967), Sunday After-Noon Interior, 1936, oil on artist's board, signed and dated lower right, 12 x 9 inches, framed 13.5 x 10.5 inches. Provenance: J. J. Gillespie Company, Pittsburgh; gift from the artist to a close family friend. Lila Hetzel was born in Edgewood, Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of George Hetzel who founded the Scalp Level School.

Condition
