Taylor, Frederick Bourchier (Canadian, 1906-1987), Study of an Old Otomi Farmer Geronimo Gonzales (17-58), 1961, oil on canvas, signed lower right, additionally signed, dated and titiled on the verso, 25 x 20 inches, in a wood frame 32.25 x 27 inches. After working in Ontario and Quebec, Taylor moved to Mexico in 1960 and remained there until his death. The Otomi people are indigenous to central Mexico.
