Davis, William Glen (American/Pittsburgh, 20th Century), Hanging Mobile with red painted Tubular paddles, circa 1950, painted wire and metal tube, 30 x 38 x 30 inches, Provenance: The Estate of the artist. Glen Davis was an active member of Pittsburgh's Group A, an artist collective whose purpose was to advance the acceptance of abstract art in Pittsburgh. Davis was an accountant by trade, and sold very few works of art during his lifetime.
