Davis, William Glen (American/Pittsburgh, 20th Century), Untitled Abstract Tower Sculpture, c. late 1970s, welded metal on wooden base, signed on the underside, 19 x 11 x 11 inches, wood base is 2 inches tall. Glen Davis was an active member of Pittsburgh's Group A, an artist collective whose purpose was to advance the acceptance of abstract art in Pittsburgh. Davis was an accountant by trade, and sold very few works of art during his lifetime.
