2 Heywood-Wakefield tables, USA, mid 20th century. 1165 coffee table in yellow birch with champagne finish. Geometric stretcher, oval top, and saber legs, 16 x 40 x 30 inches. Together with a round side table with a later painted black lacquer top, 25 x 21 x 21 inches. Stamps at undersides. Provenance: Personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski, co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg, PA. Ed was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
Side table with some black lacquer loss, age cracks. Usage and age related wear. Coffee table with some stains.
