Woodwell, Joseph Ryan (American/Pittsburgh, 1842-1911), Landscape With Two Figures in the Center, Possibly Hunters, 1887, ink on paper, signed and dated lower left, image 6.25 x 9.25 inches, sheet size 7 x 9.75 inches, floated in a black frame 13.5 x 16 inches. Provenance: The personal collection of Gary S. Grimes, Pittsburgh. Gary was an expert on Western Pennsylvania art, and especially the Scalp Level painters.
