Needlepoint upholstered William and Mary style down filled settee. Resting on 6 legs, scroll-form wooden stretchers at front, turned stretchers at sides and back. Fine needlework with flora, fauna, and figures. Velvet upholstery at sides and back, matching fringe trim. Down filled cushion. 46 x 60 x 32 inches. Provenance: Estate of Charles G. Pauli, Pittsburgh, PA.
Condition
In overall good condition. There is age/usage related light wear to the base. There is pilling to the needlework at both the front lower left and right areas. There are some repairs to the needlework and minor loose threads in some areas. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
