Schaefer, Ron (American, b.1944), Mon Toward Clairton, 1990s, oil on board, artist's name incised into the paint lower left, 14 x 20 inches, in a gilt wood frame 19 x 24.5 inches. Schaefer is known for his mill scenes -- this one showing the Clairton Steel Works on the Monongahela River, just southeast of Pittsburgh. Provenance: Exhibited James Gallery, Pittsburgh PA, in a one man show.
